Students and enthusiasts of MMA have many reasons for their interest in this and other martial art styles. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives. While still others are concerned about safety and self-defense.
Whether you are interested in our programs for mental or physical well being, DFW Boxing Club offers a number of programs that will fit your developmental needs and your busy schedule as well.
This is a specialized class for 4, 5, and 6 year olds. This class is designed to prepare the child to join the regular children's program. The Lil' Dragons program introduces children to the fundamentals of martial arts training. Through the use of fun exercises and games, children are allowed to explore martial arts movements that develop motor skills, coordination, creative expression, and the ability to focus. Lil' Dragons program also introduces the child to basic life skills; such as, courtesy, sharing, politeness, self control, integrity, goal setting, and sportsmanship.
Our Kids Kickboxing program offers the chance for your young child to develop: self esteem, self-discipline, confidence, physical fitness and coordination. Our goals at DFW Boxing Club are to develop our students into not only well rounded martial artists but also develop their character and work ethic. Through training students will learn respect for others and for themselves, hard work and discipline. They will also learn how to work as a team with other students as well as setting goals and achieving them. The first level begins with basic punching, kicking, and wrestling techniques. Testing is required for advancement to assure that proper training skills are learned with consistent attendance. Light contact is required to apply proper technique and application. As students advance, training and sparring is geared toward competition. (Uniform and gear is required. Safety comes first!)
Kids Martial Arts Program
Did you know that Martial Arts is 20 times better than other team sports in developing a child's self esteem and confidence? Our program can help your child increase their confidence, self- esteem, discipline, While teaching them life skills that will last them a lifetime and much more. Our unique children's programs are designed to teach students far more than how to kick and punch. We are very concerned with the well being, health and education of our children. For 10 years, our innovative methods of teaching has influenced thousands of kids to become achievers in life, as well as in the dojo.
We provide non-violent resolutions to conflict. Yet, we strongly believe a child must develop the skills and ability to defend themselves and understand right from wrong.
Students will develop greater confidence and self-discipline as they learn how to act and react to the world around them.
Our students are treated with respect and are taught to return the same respect toward others. We believe in praise, encouragement and positive reinforcement. Parents that work with us as a team, will enjoy seeing their chid strive for excellence, at school, at home, and at the dojo.
JUNIOR KICKBOXING (AGES 11 to 17)

USTU Olympic Style Tae Kwon Do
We offer Olympic Style Tae Kwon Do classes for students of all ages. Instructor training programs also offered at Absolute. This is a comprehensive instructional program designed to teach enthusiastic students how to teach other students good martial art and good life skills by example. The leadership building qualities of this premier program is a favorite among parents and students alike. Students are taught by a master instructor on the various levels of the USTU teaching curriculum and are shown how to teach a proven success system.
The confidence that students receive from training from a leadership position is unparalleled. After students learn special teaching techniques in a classroom environment once per week. Many of our professional instructors grew up and developed they skill within this program. Yet there are many professional people within this program that enjoy helping others learn and develop in the martial arts.

Kickboxing/ Muay Thai Boxing
Muay Thai Kick boxing is the original kick boxing style from Thailand. Learn to kick some butt or have a great workout simulating Thai boxing movements. Throw punches, knees, elbows, kicks. Learn combinations of these movements and have a great workout. For technique or just for a great workout, Thai boxing is a great way to wake up some new muscle groups. Total body movements recruiting new sets of muscles burning more calories then your old cardio routine. Have a great workout and learn how to defend yourself at the same time! We love to mix in Thai boxing movements with your every day routine. Its a great way to burn some calories, do some cardio, have some fun, while kicking butt!
Any one can take this class. No kicks here. Covered are basic combinations using footwork, jab, cross, hook, uppercuts, slips and dips; which are the basic skills taught to those who want to train like a pro and develop a body like one! You will learn all the offensive and defensive fundamentals.
Note: You will be put through conditioning drills for the Abs, Shoulders, Chest, Back and Buttocks during all sessions!!
This intense fun workout utilizes the heavy bags to throw different punch combinations along with footwork and shadowboxing to enhance balance, cardiovascular conditioning and rhythm. Release your stress, tone up your body and get an excellent workout while learning how professionals train!

Executive Kickboxing for Women Level 1
An intense session of high energy, high impact, total body conditioning. This class is for people who want to get in shape and learn martial arts. Kickboxing Conditioning teaches the fundamentals of boxing and kickboxing, heavy bag training, floor conditioning, and partner drills. Kickboxing is the most popular fitness program in the nation for a reason: This session burns calories, is excellent strength conditioning, builds lean muscle, tones & conditions your body from head to toe, increases flexibility, and teaches self-defense skills! Experience what the hype is all about! (Gloves required).
Focus Mitts and Thai Pads Level 2
The Focus Mitt class will improve your punching technique and combinations, while the Thai Pad class will have you kicking with power and precision. Perfect for those who want to take it to the next level and train like a fighter! (Gloves required)
MMA, Mixed Martial Arts
DFW Boxing Club - Mixed Martial Arts training is geared towards knowledge, technique, and offensive & defensive skills. This is the introductory part of fighting in competition, where students develop confidence and self-defense abilities. Instruction focuses on interactive contact training, parrying drills, boxing, takedown drills, wrestling, grappling, and Muay Thai free-form sparring. Students wishing to join must first pass a conditioning test and tryouts in order to begin. Testing and gear are REQUIRED.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu / Submission Wrestling
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: Is a cutting edge self-defense system famous for its devastating ground fighting techniques. BJJ is specifically developed to allow a smaller person defeat a larger person by sophisticated application of leverage and technique. Gaining superior position on your opponent and applying a myriad of chokes, holds, locks and joint manipulations becomes the foundation for this fun and effective martial art. Our rotating curriculum covers all aspects of grappling, self-defense and competition. (Free introductory class)
Subission Wrestling: This class is designed to cater to the beginning student. The class starts with 15-20 minutes of warm-ups and conditioning. After the warm up the class transitions to interactive drills, which you can directly translate into real time grappling. 2-3 moves are taught in each class. For the last 30-40 minutes we split the time up between real time drills (competitive) and actual free fighting (grappling). The class is taught at a reasonable pace to help each individual achieve success.

Krav Maga, Urban Combat, Self Defense Training, Close Quarter Combat, Street Defense

Our Personalized Personal Training sessions are designed to give you a total bodywork out! Whether you are a beginner or an advanced individual, we will design a program for you to help reach your fitness goals.
Our sessions last about 30 to 60 minutes. Through out your work out you will burn fat, build and tone muscles, release stress, increase endurance and flexibility. The Filipino Martial art, Kali Eskrima, is a complete fighting system and it is unique in that, unlike other oriental martial arts, students learn how to control and deal with weapons first before moving on to the empty hands training and techniques.
That is because lots of the empty hands techniques come from either the single or double stick, knife, dagger or sword. In particular, drilling with double sticks or stick and dagger increases sensitivity, the ability to use both hands, and improves the co-ordination and skills required for empty hands.
